Free Places to Camp in Washington State

Free is always great, right? Well, when we're talking about free campsites! Washington has several in the Wenatchee National Forest. Here's a great list of free campgrounds in Washington state.

RV Parking, Pets Welcome, Restrooms - This is a gravel parking lot in the town of Leavenworth. The signage says overnight parking allowed once in a seven day period.
DeRoux NFS Campground - Leavenworth, Washington

Fishing, Hiking, Horse Trails, Wildlife Viewing, Fire Ring, Near Water, Picnic Tables, Restrooms. A minimally-managed campground in the Teanaway Community Forest, which is now owned by the WA Department of Natural Resources.

Lion Rock Spring - Cle Elum, Washington

Restrooms. This free campsite is located within the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest's Cle Elum Ranger District.

Camp site nestled in the woods. Outhouse, 2 sites with fire rings and 7.5km of dirt Road to reach here.
