RV Camping at Crystal Mountain
The best lodging choice for Powder Hounds is staying in an RV at Crystal Mountain. Hotels and cabins are fine, but with an RV-to-Ski Package from NW Adventure Rentals, you’ve got the best first chair opportunities, a place to warm up between runs, and a luxurious RV to relax in at the end of the day. You’ll have all the amenities you need, including a fully-equipped kitchen, a bathroom and an entertainment center, and hot running water for your coffee and cocoa, all right there at the bottom of the slopes!
On the Crystal Mountain website, the RV lot is described as a “small mountain community.” It is a unique place to stay right next to the slopes. Upon arrival at the lot a host will greet you and assign you a space on the west edge of the lot. The lot has 70 spots; 32 spots with dual 50/30 amp and 38 sites with 30 amp. If the main RV lot becomes full there is an overflow RV lot for boondock camping. The overflow lot is only available when the main RV lot is full. There is a fee to camp at Crystal Mountain and a significant list of RV parking rules and info; check it all out on their RV page before heading up. You can also see up to date information on availability, lot conditions, etc. on the Crystal Mountain RV Parking Facebook page.
Getting to the RV lot: The main RV parking lot is lot B. As you approach the ski area on Crystal Mountain Boulevard you will pass through the parking lots. The first lot on the left is lot F, the RV overflow parking. To get to lot B, you will pass by lot F then E and then D all on the left and you will approach a large parking area with lots on both sides of the road. The larger lot on the right side is lot B where you will meet up with the RV hosts and register after parking.
