If you’re in the mood for some upscale shopping, downtown Seattle is sure to please, with the Westlake Center and Pacific Place. If its art that you’re interested in, be sure to check out the Seattle Art Museum. Fine dining and more coffee shops than you can count are sprinkled throughout the entire city. The famous Woodland Park Zoo is just north of Seattle, WA, and its beautiful exhibits are so worth the short drive. Close by is Greenlake, in case you feel like stretching your legs and taking a jog on the paved trail around the lake or renting a paddle boat or kayak to get out on the water. The Hiram M. Chittenden Locks are also close by, as well as Gas Works Park, Alki Beach and the stunning Washington Park Arboretum.
